The general purpose of the journal is to encourage the development of educational theory. THE SCHOOL FIELD is an open medium for communication and discussion. All articles and editorial appearing in it are to be regarded as the expression of the viewpoints of the individual authors.

Manuscripts should be submitted in English as three double-spaced printouts. A diskette version of the article should be formatted in Word for Windows. Use only MS-DOS compatibles. The full postal address, telephone, fax and e-mail coordinates, a brief curriculum vitae and an abstract should be included.

Book reviews on recently published books related to the scope of the journal are accepted.

Two copies of books for review should be sent to the Editorial Office.
